Pompompurin Cafe @ Orchard Central Singapore
A few months ago, me and my friends went to Pompompurin Café which new launched in Singapore. This adorable Sanrio character-themed cafe is finally here and this is the fist appearance in Southeast Asia. Well, i think it's the first time I'm trying out themed cafe.
The Pompompurin Cafe in Singapore has a " Garden City" theme that's in line with local culture with a signature gate at the entrance and you will see Pompompurin in the middle of the cafe with other character which is a hamster called Muffin, a mouse named Scone and a small little birds. Yea, good place for #ootd.
Those foods and drinks is bit expensive as expected but it's good to have a try with this ambiance if you are looking for themed cafe in Singapore which similar to Harujuku. Beside this, their do have a small corner which selling Pompompurin merchandise. Queueing is part of the culture of Singapore so me and friends was there about one and half hours early before the cafe opened. But there is someone early then us.. Sigh*

We ordered one main course and two desserts. Not to said, their merchandise is cute!
Pompompurin's Coconut Milk Chicken Curry (S$17.99)
A dish made up chicken chunks and mild coconut curry, topped off with Pompompurin head shaped rice and vibrant veggies. This is really delicious and cuteness overload. Not spicy at all and a little bit sweet just like those Japanese style curry rice with more coconuty-sweet.
Mango Parfait (S$19.99)
Pudding served with mango, ice-cream and cream. They said this is one of the best seller but too bad as I'm not a sweet lover especially dessert served with cream!
Bagel's Special Pancake Tower (S$21.99)
which includes a Pompompurin take-home souvenir mug. It's a big hit item due to the limited mug!! Five-layered stack of pancakes which served with a different sauce such a caramel, chocolate and custard. I quite like the pancakes but would recommend share this with your friends or family.
